Built for high-speed passenge service for the New Haven RR in the 1950s, the distinctive Roger Williams train spent its final years in service transporting commuters. It is shown here near Forest Hills station on the Penn Central's Needham line in April 1971. Preserved, it has been restored and is now on display at the Danbury Railway Museum.
